Before you Sign-up and build your own website with Insty-Site, you must own a Domain Name like "yourdomain.com".  Domain Names are purchased from Domain Registrars such as Network Solutions, GoDaddy, and of course us here at Insty-Site.  When registering Domain Names, prices usually range from between $8 and $30 or more (per year).

If you already own your Domain Name, it is important to know who your Domain Registrar is.  You probably know that already, but if you ever forget who your Domain Registrar is, you can perform what is known as a Whois Search on your Domain Name.  Nearly all Domain Registrars offer a link near the bottom of their homepage labeled Whois Search. Click the link, enter your domain name (without the www) and you will see all the information there is to know about your Domain Name including your current Registrar information and expiration date.

If you don't already have a domain name, no problem.  Insty-Site offers Domain Names for just $15 per year.  If you purchase your Domain Name from Insty-Site, it will be pre-configured for our web servers and you may proceed on to Sign-up. However if your Domain Name was purchased through another Domain Registrar, you will need to Configure DNS for your Domain Name to point to:

Primary DNS:  ns1.instysite.com
Secondary DNS:  ns2.instysite.com

This is done by logging into your Domain Registrar Account and selecting the Domain Name you wish to configure.  Look for a link named "Edit DNS" or "Change DNS" or something close.  If you have any problems configuring DNS, you may contact either your Domain Registrar for assistance, or else Contact Us and we will be glad to provide further assitance to you.
