Adding Products

Adding products is the first step toward opening your online store. If you have used the photo gallery already, you will be familiar with the interface.

Product Name
Enter a short title for your product. Titles should be between 3 and 100 characters in length.

Long Description
Enter a detailed description for your product.

Short Description
Enter a brief description for use in the archive.

Select Photo
Upload a JPG, GIF, or PNG to show a picture of your product. Like in the photo gallery, thumbnails and low resolution copies are made automatically.

Item Number
Enter an item number for your reference to aid you in tracking your inventory.

Category
Select the category in which to place this product.

Displayorder
Select the display order for this product. Lower numbers come first.

Price
Select the price, per item, for which to sell this product.

Shipping
Select a shipping cost for this item. This will be applied to each unit ordered plus the global shipping you set in settings.

Qty Onhand
Select how many of this product to sell. The counter will decrement each time this item is carted or purchased. Once the counter reaches zero, this item cannot be carted again until you raise the quantity.

Add Product Category
Add a category in which to organize your products.

Manage Products
This is where you can edit existing products and categories.
