Getting Started

To manage your website, you must go to a special password protected area of your website called the Insty-Site Back-Office.  The back-office is located at www.yoursite.com/admin. The very first time you go to your back-office, you will be prompted to enter a username and password. Open your web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and navigate to the address http://www.yoursite.com/admin. This is where you will login to manage your website's appearance and content. You will enter a password the first time you login. Please record and keep your back-office username and password private.

This back-office account will be used for editing and managing your website's appearance and content. This account is automatically placed in the "Super Admin" usergroup, giving you full administrative access to the back-office features.

Username Requirements

1. Usernames must be between 3 and 20 characters in length.
2. Usernames can only contain alphanumeric characters, dashes, and underscores.
3. Usernames may not begin or end with spaces. (Such spaces will be automatically trimmed off.)
4. Passwords must be between 5 and 10 characters in length.
5. Your e-mail address will be validated for general e-mail address structure only. (If you typed it incorrectly, you may correct it anytime in the back-office.)
