Importing Templates

Insty-Site provides two methods for adding new templates to your website. When templates are exported from an Insty-Site website, they are returned in the form of a TAR file containing all graphics, style sheets, and TPLs to make the template. The first method for adding a new template is importing the template from such a TAR file.

TAR File
Select the TAR file you are uploading. TAR files exported from other Insty-Site websites work best.

Directory Name
Enter the directory in which to place this template. Directory names should contain only alphanumeric characters, dashes, and underscores.

Template Name
Enter the name of this template. Template names should be between 3 and 100 charcters in length.

Downloading Templates

The second method for adding a new template is to download new templates from our Insty-Site server. New templates, already packaged and ready for your version of the CMS, are available by clicking Template --> Download Template in the back-office. Click on one to import it. You will be prompted for a directory name just like above, but template name is imported over automatically.
