Photo Gallery

The photo gallery is one of the most fundamental features of the CMS. Photos are often among the first things new Insty-Site users tend to show off to their visitors.

Adding a Photo

Select File
Select a JPG, PNG, or GIF image to upload to your gallery. A proper thumbnail and low resolution copy are automatically created so the gallery loads quickly.

Category
Select the category (or album) in which to place this photo.

Photo Title
Provide a short title for this photo. Titles should be between 3 and 100 characters in length.

Display Order
Select the display order for this photo. Photos given a lower number will appear first. Photos also order by the date they are added (newest first).

Photo Description
Enter a description for your photo.

Add Category
Add a photo category to your gallery.

Category Name
Enter a name for this category. Category names must be between 3 and 50 characters in length.

Parent Category
Select a parent category in which to place this new category. Select No Parent to make it a main category.

Display Order
Determine the order in which this category should appear in relation to its sibling categories.

Display For
Display this category for certain users: everyone, members only, or no one.

Category Description
Enter a category description. Descriptions must be no greater than 100 characters.

Manage Gallery
Allows you to edit existing photos and categories.
