Polls

The polling system is useful for gathering data from your visitors. Each poll can have as many as 10 answers. A poll can allow multiple answers or enforce only one answer per voter. Once a poll has been opened, it cannot be edited. A poll can either be closed and/or removed.

Adding a Poll

Question
Enter the question or topic to which voters will respond.

Autoclose
Select YES to make this poll close automatically. You will be given a chance to set the length of time for this poll on the following screen.

Multiple Options
Select YES to allow voters to select multiple options in this poll (checkboxes rather than radio buttons).

Option Count
Select how many options you want on this poll. You may add more on the next page if needed.

Make Default
Select YES on this poll to make it the default poll for the polls block.

Options
On the second page, you fill in the options allowed for this poll. You may have a minimum of 2 options and a maximum of 10.

Autoclose Date
Select how long to leave the poll open.

Manage Poll
Polls which are currently active can be closed. Polls which are no longer active can be removed. Although, in order to ensure accurate voting, polls that have already been launched cannot be edited afterwards.
