Introduction to Templates

In order to give your website a desired apearance, you will need a template that matches your taste. A template is a skin for your website, containing graphics, style sheets, and small structural elements.

Style sheets
These files contain CSS settings for colors, font styles, borders, margins, padding, and other visual effects used throughout the website.

TPL files
TPL files contain HTML bits used for determining the structure of your website.

Graphics
These are logos, headers, background images, and image files referenced by the above. The back-office also references headers and logos in each template's directory.

Insty-Site comes with a small selection of templates already prepared. You may click on Template --> Manage Template in the back-office to edit a number of important and commonly used settings to change your templates in various ways to suit your needs. You may also experiment with the style sheets and TPL files to create a website that looks like just about anything you can imagine.
